Hey book clubber!
We had a great discussion earlier this month - we talked about Pitch Anything by Oren Klaff (the 'assigned' book... which no one actually fully finished in time for the meeting 😂) and also about all the other interesting books we have read so far. We had some new faces and interesting conversations - so fun!
(For the record, I did finish Pitch Anything after the meeting and it was powerful. If you want to learn to pitch better and convince people of anything... STUDY THIS BOOK. 🤯 I definitely need to read it again and take notes.)
Next up is 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' by Dale Carnegie. It's one of those books that has been recommended to me 50 times but I still haven't read. Maybe you've been meaning to read it too? Let's pressure each other to finally read it (basically the whole reason Dakota and I started this book club - peer pressure to read more 😉)
